  1. If you want something to happen, make it happen.
  2. Just asking can go a really long way
  3. Everything has beauty in it. Somehow, some way. All you have to do is be willing to see it.
  4. An occasional Netflix binge-watching day is definitely acceptable
  5. Not everyone is out to get you
  6. You can cry or you can do something about your problems
  7. How much you grow - or not grow - from your life experiences is up to you
  8. If you love someone, tell them.
  9. If you have to ask permission to call your significant other, you need a different significant other.
  10. Don't be afraid to fall in love. Fall in love deeply, and easily, and passionately.
