Arts and Crafts Are Tiring Pt. 2
So today I finished the project that I was working on yesterday. Since it's a gift, I'll post pictures of it after I give it hehe. I'm pretty sure it'll be my first ever picture uploaded to Sam Scratch. Super exciting.
(Not really).
Anyway! Have you guys ever tried to make stamps, failed at that after trying about 100 different materials, then decided that you'd better just make stencils out of your designs?
Have you ever made those stencils out of regular printer paper?
Because don't. Just don't. They won't work and they'll make you cry.
On the bright side, one of the only useful skills I learned from taking Mandarin in high school was the Chinese art of paper cutting. Because it's not like you're supposed to learn Mandarin in Mandarin class. Pfft (but that's a whole other story for another post).
I recently invested in a cutting mat from Daiso too, so now my stencil making, paper cutting life is so much easier, efficient, and more enjoyable. Yay!
I guess that's all for tonight. I swear my posts will get a lot more interesting. I hope.
See you tomorrow!
